About Alienacid Walk-In Tubs and How Referrals Work

Who We Are
Alienacid Walk-In Tubs is a referral service. We help homeowners reach independent providers who handle walk-in tubs, walk-in showers and tub-to-shower conversions. We are not a contractor. We do not do the work ourselves.
Why We Exist
Many people wait too long to change their bathroom. Maybe there was a slip. Maybe stepping over the tub wall has started to feel scary. Maybe a parent needs more help than before. Then the search begins, and it feels confusing fast.
We built this service to take some of that weight off. We listen to the worry, then give you one clear step.
How the Matching Works
You call or send a request. We ask a few simple questions about the project, the bathroom and what feels hardest right now. Then we point you to a provider in our network who serves the Boston area.
The provider contacts you, looks at the space and gives a written quote. You compare, ask questions and decide.
What to Expect After the Match
Timing varies by provider and by season, so ask the provider when they can visit. Keep your notes and photos handy. A short list of questions helps too, so nothing slips your mind during the visit.
If the first provider is not a good fit, you can say so and ask for another option. You can also take a few days to think. There is no obligation to move forward.
What We Ask of Providers
We ask providers in our network to meet a few basics:
- Hold the licenses and insurance that local rules require
- Explain the work in plain words
- Give a written quote before starting
- Treat your home with care
- Answer homeowner questions honestly
Providers run their own businesses. They set their own prices, schedules and methods.
What We Do Not Do
We do not install tubs or showers. We do not set prices. We do not promise insurance coverage, and we do not state provider hours. Availability varies, so ask the provider directly.
We also do not pressure anyone. A request is not a contract.
How We Are Paid
Providers in our network may pay a referral fee when a homeowner connects with them. Your quote and your contract are between you and the provider. Ask the provider to explain every line of the quote.
Get Connected
Breathe, then begin. If you are ready to look at options, request an estimate and a local provider can take it from there.
Would you rather hear it explained first? Request a callback to check provider availability.
Tell us what happened
Worried about a slippery tub or a hard step-over? Request a callback or send a request, and we will point you to a local provider.
